Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing GameChef.dev or joining our waitlist, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. The waitlist and early access

Joining the GameChef.dev waitlist gives you a position in the queue for early access to our platform. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access, a specific launch date, or any particular feature set. GameChef.dev is a pre-launch product and the service may change significantly before or after launch.

Early access slots will be distributed at our sole discretion, informed (but not solely determined) by waitlist position and points. We reserve the right to delay, restrict, or cancel early access for any reason.

3. Rewards program rules

GameChef.dev operates a points-based rewards program for waitlist members. Participation is voluntary. The following rules apply:

  • Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your country) to participate in the rewards program and claim prizes.
  • Earning points. Points are earned through email verification (+5 pts), verified referrals (+10 pts per verified friend), and daily check-ins (+2 pts base, with streak bonuses). Points have no cash value and cannot be transferred or sold.
  • Referrals. Referral points are only awarded when the referred person verifies their email address. Self-referrals, creating duplicate accounts, or referring the same person under multiple email addresses is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification.
  • Fair play. Any attempt to artificially inflate points, including but not limited to using bots, scripts, fake email addresses, VPN abuse, or organised point farming with third parties, will result in immediate removal from the waitlist and rewards program without notice or appeal.
  • Prize distribution. Prizes are awarded at GameChef.dev's discretion based on points accumulated. We reserve the right to adjust prize tiers, quantities, and conditions before distribution. Prize winners may be required to verify their identity before claiming rewards.
  • No guarantees. The rewards program is provided as-is. We do not guarantee any specific prizes will remain available. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the rewards program at any time.
  • Forfeiture. Points and prizes are forfeited upon disqualification, account deletion, or if you are found to have violated these terms. Forfeitures are final.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use our service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our service or infrastructure.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers connected to it.
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
  • Collect or harvest data from our service without our explicit written consent.

5. Intellectual property

All content on GameChef.dev — including the name, logo, design, and written content — is the property of GameChef.dev and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

GameChef.dev is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components. We are not responsible for the accuracy or completeness of any information on the site.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GameChef.dev shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the service or the rewards program. Our total liability to you shall not exceed €100 in aggregate.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your waitlist access at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, any accumulated points and rewards eligibility are forfeited.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.
